Heal your body as you sleep

Do you meditate?
If you answered no, guess again!
Every night you go to sleep you engage in the most natural form of meditation your body can experience, says Qigong master and healer Chunyi Lin, creator of Spring Forest Qigong.
"Sleeping is a natural form of meditation and a form of Qigong," he says, "It's the perfect way to balance yin and yang energy in the body."
Traditional Chinese Medicine says too much yang energy or too much yin energy can cause blockages in the body's energy channels and lead to health problems.
"But 'Qi sleeping' helps to balance your energy. During sleep, the energies of the heart, mind, body, and spirit unite," Chunyi says. "It's so wonderful because you are practicing Qigong while you sleep!"
To help you sleep like a baby—and fine-tune your energy while you do it—consider these tips from Chunyi:
• Exercise daily to detoxify acidic energy in the body. Walking, slow running, weight lifting, Qigong, yoga, or tai chi can all help you go deeper into sleep so the body can balance more quickly.
• Eat a light meal in the evening, and stop eating two hours before bed.
• Consider eating a small baked potato as part of your evening meal. This calms the energy of the brain and pancreas, helps balance hormone energy, and helps the body relax.
• Don't drink any tea, coffee, or alcohol at least two hours before bed.
• Avoid watching violent movies or TV shows before sleep. "As you sleep, those images are still processing in your brain, in every cell in your body," Chunyi says, "It can prevent you from having a peaceful sleep."
• Before bed, take a hot bath filled with a handful of sea salt, or soak your feet in a basin of hot water with three tablespoons of sea salt.
• Go to sleep and wake up the same time every day to allow your body to align with its natural body clock.
• Sleep on your right or left side or on your back. This helps balance the Qi better.
When sleeping on your side bend your knees, Chunyi says, "and sleep like a shrimp, or like a baby in the womb."
Avoid sleeping on your stomach, which can cause your neck to twist and energy blockages to develop gradually in your body.
• Put a smile on your face as you close your eyes. Smiling causes your brain to send out endorphins that help you feel good.
• Visualize you are sleeping in the cradle of the moon.
• Relax your body from head to toe, breathing slowly, deeply, and gently.
• Focus your attention on your lower dantian, the energy center deep behind the navel. Imagine bright, loving energy there. Send unconditional love energy to your lungs and to any part of your body where you have pain. Allow your body to feel the love.
• Send a message to your body. For example, say to yourself, "Tonight I will sleep in eight hours of Qigong meditation. Tomorrow when I wake, all my channels are open. All the blockages in my body are gone. I am completely healed, and I feel happy and healthy."
• When you wake in the morning, don't spring out of bed right away. Lie still as you take three deep breaths. Then rub your hands and massage your face. Massage your ears. Then get up and enjoy your day.
"When you sleep well and feel peace in your body," Chunyi says, "every cell has time to rejuvenate. The next morning you wake up with good energy and are ready to go!"

NICE AURORAS ~ Dark Pink

WEAK IMPACT, NICE AURORAS: A minor CME hit Earth's magnetic field on July 9th at approximately 20:30 UT. The impact was weak, and at first had little effect, but in the hours following the strike a geomagnetic storm developed. At its peak during the early hours of July 10th, the G1-class storm produced auroras in northern-tier US states from Wisconsin to Washington. Jim Reitz sends this picture from Rattlesnake Lake, about 30 miles east of Seattle:

The storm is subsiding now, but the aurora watch is not over. Solar wind conditions continue to favor Northern and Southern lights at high latitudes. NOAA forecasters estimate a 40% chance of polar geomagnetic storms on July 10th. Aurora alerts: text, voice.

This Sunset is awesome ! Sunspots ! see www.HolisticRadioShow.com

(from: http://spaceweather.com/)

SUNSPOT SUNSET: Despite its unstable magnetic field, big sunspot AR1785 has resisted exploding. Even so, it's putting on a good show. Pete Lawrence of Selsey UK photographed the active region as a dark-mark in the sunset on July 9th:
"Summer has arrived in the UK and there have been some fantastic sunsets," says Lawrence. "This one was a beauty with the current crop of sunspots in view."
Pretty sunsets could give way to actual solar flares if the magnetic field of AR1785 finally erupts. For the 5th day in a row, flare probabilities remain high: NOAA forecasters estimate a 55% chance of M-flares and a 10% chance of X-flares on July 10th. Solar flare alerts: text, voice.

This is a first ! Wow !

What a beautiful way to start the July Moon Cycle
Happy Summer: be cool, eat cool things; Wonderful time of Meditation !

THE THINNEST CRESCENT: Astrophotographer Thierry Legault is known for his razor-sharp images of spacecraft. This week, for a change of pace, he photographed a razor-sharp crescent:

"This image shows the tiny lunar crescent at the precise moment of the New Moon, in full daylight at 7h14min UTC on July 8 2013," says Legault. "It is the youngest possible crescent, the age of the Moon at this instant being exactly zero."
"From the shooting site in Elancourt, France, the angular separation between the Moon and the Sun was only 4.4° (nine solar diameters)," he continues. "At this very small separation, the crescent is extremely thin (a few arc seconds at maximum) and, above all, it is drowned in the solar glare, the blue sky being about 400 times brighter than the crescent itself in infrared and probably more than 1000 times brighter in visible light. In order to reduce the glare, the images have been taken at near-infrared wavelengths using a pierced screen placed just in front of the telescope to block direct sunlight."
Legault's photo may have theological as well as astronomical significance. In the Muslim world, the New Moon of July 8th and the sighting of the first crescent afterward sets the stage for the beginning of Ramadan 2013.

Take a look if you can see them, as it will be about 6 months before we have another Tripple conjunction... and on a full moon ! Should be wonderful.

You may find many more goodies about the heavens and system in which we live on www.SpaceWeather.com  -- also keep up on the Solar activities going on the time as our nasty tornadoes and earthquakes...

August Moon Last Crescent Rising - 2nd coming for me

My 2nd pass of Saturn over my natal Saturn - a Saturn Birthday - every 30 or so years - was last eve. As I view the last crescent moon rising 2 hours before the sun today, I say good by to the old and the await the new, that is dawning all around me - tomorrow is the New Moon, NO rising crescent then. Today, in the dark sky, this one was beautiful.

My new life here on the blue planet is filling daily with more Universal Unconditional Love,
as I practice the Small Universe Meditation of www.HappyQi.com asking for this to unfold more. As it does so, even after 59 + 3/4 years, I find more ways I am inflexible, and discovering in the Light of Love more ways to be more Kind, Loving, forgiving -

Susan entered spirit on April 3, just 20 days after the last posting...
The "missing" of my wonderful partners' companionship is not 'gone'
- It has changed, transformed ~
- I am learning to enjoy her company from her new life "over there" as I am included in it - like a good friend who lives in a far off country. I am happy being a "God parent" to her family there ~ (I'm really not sure where "there" is at present).

Peace to you
Love to you
Friendship to you
Reminder to us all to practice our daily intake move it around, and share with others
~ to help ourselves and others heal.

Saturn - soul form - has brought me the two gifts foretold when I was 18, of two books - published - now I can write them - doing this 'work' will be joy
The first will  be on "Love" the second on "Grief"

Susan's Saturn return of 5 years ago: changed a relationship she had for 25 years and I showed up to share her life, to help her transition to spirit. I did my very best.  My Saturn return was to help her into spirit - I Love her - wishing her the very best;  to write, and learn to really Love, to heal,  and help others Love and heal.I did not know she would leave this soon, I really believed I would enjoy her company - me as care giver for a year more.

Susan taught me to Love in ways I never dreamed - I was very touchy-feely - she was not, I was very talky - she was not, I wanted to be around her all the time, she did not.
Love was the result, because I was willing (sort of anyway) to find the real Love - not get hung up on it's expression in a certain way.

Susan who didn't cry taught me to cry ( I didn't before) - but not of loss - of Love.

Grief is book two, Love is the way through this one, everyone does it their way, some by hatred and anger, some by withdrawal, laughing, running around with new partners, denial, taking control, bossyness, ignoring, and in more ways than we can imagine. We all need forgiveness, the universal Unconditional Love. Knowledge helps, Gigong helps me the most - transmuting energy - grief is an energy, just like tumors it can be transformed into helpful energy.

Chunyi's ordeal growing up in during the Communist revolution in China was 5 years of hard labor on rural farms - sometimes carrying 500 # logs with only another on steep slippery slopes, with very little food - some uneatable. His ordeal left him in rage or deep anger with sever depression. ( See "Born A Healer" ) Qigong opened his heart - permitting him to forgive the unforgivable, to let in the Love and to feel it again.

My burdens are the result of grief, and hardness of convictions: "my way or the Highway" . Susan taught me trust her way - for it was her path, and to Love her for choosing it. Though my "ordeal" is nothing compared to "Chunyi's, I have discovered that my "hardness" is just as concrete, the Grief is a gift - a  key - one to welcome and listen to and LOVE- to allow it work to feel it, experience it - for is unlocking and opening the the blast proof doors I have had in place to hide the tunnel to the Universal Light of Unconditional Love.  Probably shut because of unwillingness to experience Grief long ago, or my part in it - or....?

For it is in surrendering to this Universe of Light & Love that we are free, never alone, healed and helping others to heal.  What wonderful place to be, even at ground zero!
thank goodness I didn't need that one to open me up.

Gee maybe we can help the ones who were there? !!!

Grief for me is not a wall -- It is a doorway...

It moves me to go find the solutions I would not have sought out before.

Cheery Day... I Love You

The last Cresent fill s the sky - light blue

Monday's new moon is the final one of the astrological year
but you tell the flowers and trees to wait ! Spring has sprung
The force of Nature to create new life is evident all around us
in Dallas TX. This is Easter for me Not the celebration of a man
who transcended death 2000 + years ago but
consciousness emerging ~ daily, monthly, annually, the force of Nature
is the Divine plan on Earth.

The transcendence of Christ is us into light - not an Earthly thing, but a time
to leave earth an move on. I'll celebrate life here - a while longer.
Namaste dear one.

What is a crescent moon?
